Matt & Alicia

A Rustic and Romantic Wedding | Moonridge McCall Cabin

If I had to choose just one word to describe Matt & Alicia’s wedding, it would be family.

From the time we arrived, everyone was involved in setting up for the ceremony and reception. The Mother of the Bride was arranging florals on the altar. The Father of the Bride was erecting a reception tent. Sisters and friends were perfecting hair and makeup. Groomsmen were stuffing flower petals into sachets. Parents of Bridesmaids were steaming gowns- I don’t think there was a person who attended the wedding who didn’t serve in some way.

To me, that really demonstrates just how truly loved Matt and Ali are by everyone who knows them. Which isn’t surprising because they are very lovable people.

While the weather was volleying between bright sunshine and hail all day leading up to the ceremony, neither the Bride nor the Groom seemed to be stressed about anything. They were both so laid back and just excited to be spending time with their closest family and friends while beginning the next chapter in their epic romance.

Surrounded by the most stunning scenery and the sweetest people, Matt and Alicia exchanged rings and self-written vows. While everyone wiped away happy tears and clapped, they became husband and wife. The rest of the evening was spent eating pizza and donuts, laughing, dancing, and more happy crying.

Before we left, we told them it was a wonderful wedding. Ali said, “it was very “us”. They know who they are and how they wanted to begin their marriage. And it was perfect.

Matt and Ali, thank you for allowing us to witness your light and joy as a couple and the beautiful bond you have with those close to you. It was a privilege to be included in your magical day. We hope you enjoy your feature on our on blog and we wish you all the best in your bright future together!
