Fall Family Session | Covington, WA

You know what I love about the first family sessions of Fall; the ones when some people might still consider it to be Summer? The fact that the ground is dry enough for the families to be able to sit down! Is that random? Maybe. But come November, the ground is perma-soggy and it’s standing poses only people.

Anyways, I digress.

I was happy to kick off Fall (hey it’s after Labor Day; I can say Fall if I want to) family session season with these beautiful people.

I’m amazed at how you can take a few simple things like a family, a random field on the side of a road, fading sunlight, and a blanket and turn them into these visible, tangible memories.

It’s like capturing time in a bottle. Which you can then print out and hang on your wall. Mind-boggling.

P Family, thank you for sharing your beautiful simplicity and love with me and my camera. Please enjoy your feature on the blog and these photographic memories.
